At the beginning of November, a CHP plant planned, constructed and delivered by URBAS Energietechnik, begins to operate in Mustamae, Estonia.
The biomass cogeneration plant has a capacity of 10 MWel and 46 MWth and supplies 20.000 households in Tallinn with district heating as well as 40.000 households with electricity.
The overall costs of the plant come to 48 million Euro and this project is a further step to the reduction of fossile fuels in Estonia.
With an opening, the inauguration was duly celebrated.
