Holtmeyer in Ottersberg-Narthauen has been sawing for more than a century. They are producing pellets and green power in addition to cut wood.
Holtmeyer’s power generation is now expanded by an URBAS biomass CHP facility.
URBAS Energietechnik is building a CHP system based on the steam cycle process with the following basic data:
Boiler output: 6.9 MW
Steam output: 8.0 t/h
Generator output: 1.45 MWel
This URBAS facility will enable Holtmeyer to triple its current power generation starting around the end of 2026, thereby further improving its green footprint.
