Graanul Invest from Tallin, Estonia, Europe’s largest pellet producer, is expanding the production capacity of its Alytus plant in Lithuania, with URBAS Energietechnik implementing the biomass energy plant required for it.
A new boiler plant with 2 x 7.5 MW output (140 °C/10 bar) is built for heat supply of a new belt dryer.
URBAS is building a turn-key plant from the foundation, including boiler house and heat distribution.
While this is going to be the first URBAS boiler plant in Lithuania, it will be the fifth one built for Graanul already.
